Northern Corn Leaf Blight

Erin EagenThis year, unlike many before it, reports of Northern Corn Leaf Blight (Exserohilum Turcicum) throughout Southern Ontario were at higher levels of infestation. There have been many speculations as to why the foliar fungus was rampant through much of this area. The following will explain the disease, the measures taken to subdue it and potential reasons for an increase in 2013.
